Epaphus Co., Ltd., which operates Teacher Korea, collects only the information needed to administer educator membership, provide requested resources and operate the choices you make.

2. Information, purpose and retention
For an educator membership profile, we collect your name, email, current country, primary role, subject or function, qualification status, visa-support expectation and availability. If you choose to provide them, we also collect years of experience, curriculum experience, preferred location, relocation profile, Korea-life interests, one question or experience about life in Korea, employer-discovery preference, career-update preference and one résumé/CV file. We use this information to administer member access, provide requested working resources, understand educator demand, plan relevant content, and operate only the optional employer-discovery or career-update choices you select. Career updates may include verified opportunities, Korea education market briefs and Ready Day or educator-event invitations. The standard retention period is two years from collection, unless you withdraw earlier or a different legal retention requirement applies.
3. Optional CV and sharing with schools
A CV is optional and is stored privately with your profile. Your profile and CV are not automatically shared with schools or other third parties. If you opt into school discovery, contact details and documents are still not displayed. Any identifiable disclosure to a hiring institution requires a separate step and appropriate consent or another confirmed lawful basis.
4. Processing outside Korea
This website runs on ChatGPT Sites. OpenAI OpCo, LLC and its subprocessors support hosting, secure transmission, form processing, storage and incident response. Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) and its subprocessors transmit operational notifications and submission-confirmation emails. Your name, email, submission details and reference number may be processed in the United States and other locations used by those subprocessors when you submit the form. Information is retained for the period stated above or as needed to provide the relevant service.
5. Sensitive information
Do not submit passport or foreign-registration numbers, visa files, criminal records, health data or similar sensitive documents through this form or ordinary email. These are not required for joining the educator network.
6. Member access, choices and rights
Member access links are sent only to the email on an active educator profile, expire after seven days and should not be forwarded. The signed link contains the profile email and expiry time protected by a cryptographic signature; it is not stored as a password and does not change your optional choices. You may use the secure Manage Profile page to change employer-discovery and career-update choices separately or delete the active profile and any optional CV. You may also request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent by contacting yoon.lee@epaphus.info.
